How Do Ecoquest Air Purifiers Compare To Air Filters?

The problem with traditional air filters is twofold. Air filters are designed to treat symptoms of air pollution and not actual the problem itself. Air filters are only designed to treat the air that passes through them, and they do not go out to the source of the problem. That's why you must have an air filter in every room, which is quite costly and frankly ineffective.

The problem is, very limited amounts of air actually passe through the air filter. The air that enters is in the immediate area of the filter, but if you take just a few steps away, the air in that surrounding area will never even reach the filter to get cleaned.

The second problem with air filters lies in the fact that they get dirty and polluted very quickly requiring constant maintenance. This means that if you're not actually cleaning or replacing the filter very often, the air filter itself becomes a source of indoor air pollution! It takes dirty air in, and releases the air that's even dirtier! And it can be quite costly to constantly replace air filters.

On the other hand EcoQuest air purifiers don't filter the air, they purify it. With new technology improved upon by EcoQuest called Radiant Catalytic Ionization, the need for ozone to be used at all while you are in your home is not necessary. Radiant Catalytic Ionization, or RCI, is an advanced ionization process that is as effective as older ozone technology without using the ozone component that some people dislike.

Super oxide ions and hydro-peroxides are produced by the RCI process, which is able to clean the air in your home as they move out into your indoor environment. So, the difference between a filter and a purifier is that the filter has to have air pass through it to be cleaned and a purifier cleans the air where it's at in your home.

This new technology makes EcoQuest air purifiers much more effective than traditional air filters.
