Why People Fail Online

By Tony Thomas

There are many reasons why people fail online. I just want to highlight one of them today.

There are a plethora of schemers and scammers online, whose only goal is to prey on people's ignorance and their yearning to make a fast buck without working for it. If lazy people did not exist, neither would the scammers. They would have no one to make money off of! Working online takes as much work, if not more, than working a 9-to-5, brick-and-mortar job. There is no such thing as Get-Rich-Quick and no “make-$1,000,000-overnight.” Those kind of things simply do not exist.

Because of the schemers, many people who are seriously considering a business on the Internet and wanting to find legitimate ways to make money, grow extremely cynical. Let me make it clear that I don't blame them at all for being cautious and researching opportunities before they make a move. That is wise. But some people swing too far to the point that anything that comes along, they automatically label a scam. It becomes almost second-nature. I've seen it many times over and it's sad to watch.

Because of this Pavlovic reaction, they become blinded to anything that is legitimate. It's much safer and easier to dismiss everything rather than examine somethings validity or lack thereof. Because of their negative experiences in the past, they overlook the gold bar lying in the dirt.

If you are not succeeding online, consider yourself. Could this mindset be holding you back? Are you finding fault in every online business opportunity that you come across? You may be missing the boat. Be wise, be cautious, but don't be blind.
