Outbound Links – These are links on your site that lead to an external website. Having a ton of links to an outside site, such as a link page, is not highly recommended as it reduces your pagerank. Three way links where you link out to a site, and another site provides back links is considered a better plan of search engine optimization.

Passive Income – Internet marketers actively market services or products to get sales and commissions from affiliate programs. Passive income is when a marketer refers another marketer to a program and that marketer begins to promote and sell the product. For each sale the referred marketer makes, the program will pay the referrer (original marketer) a percentage of the sale. This is considered "passive income" because the original marketer didn't have to actively promote the product in order to make a percentage of the sale made.

Reciprocal Linking – Webmasters and Internet Marketers have long traded links with other similarly themed websites to boost search engine ranking. In recent years, reciprocal linking has lost its influence in search engines although it is still considered viable by many marketers to a small extent.

Split Testing - Split testing is a strategy for increasing the effectiveness a web based marketing offer. Then create variations of that offer and through use of software or manually, test each variation to see which one provides the highest click through rate.
Squeeze Page – Squeeze pages are landing pages where you are presented with an enticing piece of advertising and in order to get a free product or report, you are asked to join a mailing list. These are extremely effective forms of listbuilding and have been used successfully in Internet Marketing for years.

Two Tier Affiliate Program – This is an affiliate program structure whereby affiliates earn commissions on their conversions as well as conversions of marketers they refer to the program. Usually this is done on a percentage basis and is considered passive income.
Three Way Linking – Three way linking is where a group of marketers and webmasters get together and form a circuit. Website 1 links to Website 2 who links to Website 3 who links to Website 1 and so on. The ultimate goal is to never have two websites link to each other which is considered reciprocal linking and less effective.

Viral Linkbait – This takes a good linkbait article or post and designs it with the specific aim of dissemination by visitors who visit your website. Using the basic linkbait model, you would provide variations for use on others websites thus making it self-replicating. As it populates other websites you link is also disseminated thus increasing traffic for you.
