Online Marketing Strategies

Online Marketing - The Web 2.0 Strategy - Internet Marketing
By Matthew Castro

There is a new idea that has taken the internet marketing business by storm, and that idea is Web 2.0. Web 2.0 is an idea, and it's an idea worth listening to. Web 2.0 is the idea that the internet is no longer a place to get the information that you need at the click of a button, rather, it's the idea that the internet is a teacher, a guide, to what you want information for.

When you search something on Google, you get more than 100,000 matches to your keyword. But you only look at the first 1-3 pages. These 1-3 pages will either have the information that your looking for, or not. If it does have some kind of information that your looking for, you click on it, then you click on a link inside that link, then you click back because the link you just linked onto isn't relevant, and you click and click and click click click click until you find the information that you want.

That 1-3 pages of matches do not have the information that you want. They act as clues, hints, and these hints lead to search for more. To learn more. Until you get all these hints and clues and you form your answer in your mind. Say that your looking for a new paintball gun, you search paintball marker(that's what a paintball gun is called) into Google and look at the first link that says Paintball Markers for sale. You click that, you look at these different kinds of markers, and you click on the type of marker your looking for, and you see a marker that your interested in. You click on the link that says read reviews, you read those reviews. You read that the marker is reliable and so you research it more on Google, you type in the name of the marker and click search and click on the first link. Now your reading technical information about it, you want to know how it works and how to use it, once you've learned what it does. Now you want it, and you buy it, over the internet, or at a store. That is the way that people search on the internet. They don't search something trying to buy something, no, they're just browsing. They want to know the different products and what they can choose. Then if they think that it's reliable, they buy it.

This is the idea of web 2.0. You have to learn how web 2.0 works and how to better implement it into your marketing strategy. You have to realize that people are coming to you for information, not products. Learn how to be a reliable guide, and when they realize that your a reliable guide, they'll keep coming to you for more information. That is where the online profit is made. In reliability and in trust. Become a reliable source and your profits will increase, I promise.

So to make that money, you have to understand this concept and implement it into your marketing strategy. SEE YOU AT THE TOP!
