You'll just have to provide information on the wizard and in minutes you'll have a functional web site complete with buttons, navigation, graphics, and many more.
The difficult task in web site creation is how to effectively publish it so that search engines can easily index your site. You need other skills to do this. Here are some guidelines to effective web site creation which can help you in your web development work:
1. When using web creation software, choose the one that can automate web building. This feature will make it easy for you to create a functional web site.
2. Name your pages using key words you can generate from keyword generator programs. You can do this by tagging individual pages with good competitive key words and phrases.
3. Make sure your pages are linked properly. Almost all web building software has links checker that automatically check broken links. Before publishing your sit, always perform links check to ensure that your pages are seamlessly integrated and properly lined to one another. This will help you in search engine optimization.
4. Make your web site as simple as possible. Create a homepage that have easy to use navigation and make your content viewable through your homepage either by a text link or a graphic link.
5. Pages about your company, contact information, and mailto's should be placed in one page. There's no need to create individual pages for each, it will just confuse your visitors. These web pages and elements are important because these are your direct link to the customers.
