1984 MERCEDES BENZ 300SD TURBO DIESEL.

UP FOR SALE IS A 1984 Mercedes Benz 300 SD Turbo Diesel with 239k on the miles . It starts promptly in all weather, accelerates, idles and drives nicely. The left motor mount is bad and needs to be changed. Fairly new glow plugs (so no problems starting in cold weather) . Car drives really good. The previous owner must have taken good care of engine. Transmission shifts like it's supposed to - smoothly and effortlessly. All the lights work fine. All the mirrors and lenses are in good condition except the front drivers side that has crack on the housing. All the joints on this car seem to fit and align properly - No missing body parts etc. Good on gas (How about 33mpg). Super Reliable! AC does not blow. Loaded with power sunroof, power door locks, power steering, power Antenna etc. All the power controls work fine but the passenger power seats does not work. It has a powerful sony radio and CD with remote control and they work fine. Dash has on tiiny crack on it. Exterior paints are good but has some peelings on the rear left quarter panel.(see pictures). It also has some little rusts by the rear right quarter panel bumper. Interior MB-Tex seats are excellent and not torn . Carpets are good but could still use some cleaning. All the gauges seem to work correctly except the clock. Don't be fooled by the mileage on the diesel. This is a Mercedes Benz diesel and they can go up to a million miles if properly maintained. Plenty of life left. Cheap, reliable and easy to maintain everyday transportation. These cars basically run forever, if properly maintained. Excellent candidate for Bio-diesel or vege-oil conversion. All the fluids are topped off. Car will make new owner happy. Bid with confidence.
