What should the average 6 month old english bulldog weight?

I can feel her ribs when she get picked up and there is still a defention between here front and hind quaters. She just seems to look so big at points and then outher time I wonder if she is to thin.

There is no way to accurately determine what your puppy should weigh. It depends on many different things. However, your puppy does sound thin from your description.

She could be going through a growth spurt which will often cause them to "thin out" for a few weeks and then pick back up. However, I would suggest taking a stool sample in and have it checked for parasites just to rule that out. If she's had fleas, I would also suggest worming her for tapeworms which rarely show up in a fecal exam but can cause her failure to gain.

I don't like to see fat puppies, but I think your puppy is thinner than need be.
