A 5.8 GHz, wide-spectrum phone is costlier than a 2.4GHz phone. This is because the former model is the latest, and offers improved reception, quality, range, and security.
A spread spectrum phone offers superior quality by spreading signals over several frequencies. However, this type of phone is less expensive compared to above-mentioned phones. A 900 MHz cordless phone is cheaper compared to a spread spectrum phone.
Price of cordless phones can range from $ 30 to $600 depending upon its make, features and brand name. A cordless phone offering various features could cost more compared to simple phones that do not have such advantages.
Price can also vary according to some other features such as call waiting facility, call forwarding facility and many more. Panasonic cordless phones are generally expensive compared to other branded phones because of high technology and superior quality that they offer.
