Eczema Skin Symptoms
By Robyn Bains
Eczema skin symptoms are as follows:
1) Redness of skin
Redness (or erythema) appears in the form of smaller or larger patches on predilection areas - folding parts of knees and elbows, groins, face, but they also can appear on any other part of the body. The skin is dry and itchy, and can bleed when scratched.
2) Blisters or bumps on skin
Little blisters, or bigger bumps, can appear on eczema skin patches. Sometimes they are filled with liquid that is oozing out of them when they are scratched, but they could also be filled with pus if bacterial infection took place.
3) Injuries from scratching
These injuries are very common and are usually seen at the early stage of the disease. Characteristic of eczema is that the skin is very itchy and that's why injuries from scratching are illness-specific sign. Patients find it very difficult to stop from scratching and by doing this the disease aggravates and spreads.
4) Lines
Lines (or lichenification) are forming at the later stages of eczema, when the skin lose its elasticity and becomes hard. Skin tends to have a leathery shine.
Eczema skin symptoms are mostly caused by allergens. The usual ones are:
* food allergens (dairy products, acidic fruit, wheat products, eggs)
* pollen
* dandruff
* pet hair
* grass and flowers
* any other allergen, especially the ones that are hereditary (if one or both parents had some kind of allergy, like hay fever or pollen allergy, it is more likely that their children will have some sort of allergy manifestation sooner or later)
Treatment of eczema skin symptoms, as well as the disease itself, are not so easy by the use of over-the-counter products. Today's medicine tries not to cure the illness, but rather to treat the symptoms, which of course does not end the perpetual reoccurring of eczema. Sometimes the disease is seasonal (it appears when the seasons are changing - early winter and summer), but in other cases it is constantly present in one form or the other. Either way, steroid pills and creams, and moisturizing lotions are the best we can expect when we go to the doctor complaining about eczema skin symptoms.
Unfortunately, modern medicine has completely neglected Nature as a potential resource for treating eczema. There are many people who have found their relief using only natural remedies. Not only that eczema symptoms disappear, but the disease itself is often never seen again.
My experience with eczema rash is probably not so different from yours. I had dry itchy skin for years, I scratched constantly and my skin was so injured that I was spending summer after summer wearing long-sleeved shirts and pants.
Then, one day someone put a book into my hands about [http://eczema-skin-symptoms.blogspot.com]Natural Way To Beat Eczema. And, naturally, (this sounds ironic) I was skeptical, but desperate enough as well as to give it a try. My whole world changed that day - in the next couple of weeks the eczema disappeared without a trace and my skin started to rejuvenate.
So, if you are like I was - desperate to find the solution - then give Nature a chance to show you how to cure your [http://eczema-skin-symptoms.blogspot.com]eczema skin symptoms You won't be disappointed.
