I wanted to talk to you about acid reflux during pregnancy. This is a phenomenon that happens to a lot of women and it isn't the most pleasurable thing to occur. I know a lot of women get scared and think that it might hurt the baby. It doesn't hurt them, but it is hurting you. When you're having a baby, you're going to be going through a lot of stuff. A lot of it is going to be hormonal and you're going to be pretty emotional about bringing a life into this world. You shouldn't have to worry about this. I wanted to talk to you about acid reflux during pregnancy, so you could better deal with it.

The main reason that this is happening is due to the fact that there just isn't enough space. Basically you have acid in your stomach and now that you're pregnant, you're going to fill in. The baby is going to start pushing on organs and your stomach is going to be pushed on. At some point, the acid escapes into the esophagus and you run into the problem of acid reflux. There's nothing you can do to stop the inevitability of the baby growing.

Acid reflux during pregnancy can be prevented if you change the way you eat. Obviously the whole issue comes down to volume. There just isn't enough space with the baby, so you should be eating smaller meals more often. That means there is less in your stomach at any given time and you're less likely to have a problem.
