A Brief Overview of Spray Painting

For exterior, this technique is great for getting into the spaces between brick and wooden shingles. A fresh coat of paint on tired stucco can uplift an entire house and aluminum siding can be sprayed to achieve the smoothest finish.
Interior spray painting can be an excellent solution to painting a large space or multiple rooms. It is also highly recommended for certain interior plaster finishes and popcorn ceilings. As well, spraying wooden trim and cabinetry can produce the finest results.
For commercial projects such as large offices and warehouses, it is the fastest and most cost-effective painting method. A wide range of
spray equipment and available painting products exist to provide for an extensive list of substrates including drywall, stucco, plaster, wood, masonry and metal surfaces.
While spraying, all appropriate areas are masked off and protected with recyclable plastic sheeting and linen drop cloths.
Indoor areas being sprayed are properly ventilated and protective gear is worn while work is in progress.
Dry-fall latex paint can be specified for indoor use as the overspray of this product turns to a dust which can be swept up, thus reducing the amount of airborne paint.
With the continuously advanced technologies of spray painting equipment, paint overspray is drastically reduced, improving the air quality on both inside and outside projects.
For fine finishing such as furniture and cabinetry a High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) spray machine is used for optimal results
For large surfaces like exterior brick work and new construction an airless assisted spray machine is suitable.
