This water bottle is great!! It is environmentally-friendly, budget-friendly and it looks good!

    PROS:

Good for the environment!! Get one of these instead of buying cases of bottled water and you end up reducing your carbon footprint on the environment!!

It is great for those people, like me, who are wary of public drinking sources!! Great portable water bottle to bring to airports, parks, beaches, etc.!! Instead of paying the ridiculous mark-up on bottled waters at the airport, use this bottle at the water fountain!!

In getting a bobble, you save money!! Lets assume you can get a 24-pack of 0.5L Poland Spring bottled water for $5 and that you drink two to three bottles a day. Each bobble filter has to be replaced after 150L. That is comparative to 12.5 cases of water bottles or $62.50!!! With the $9.95 cost of a bobble, you save about $50 every two to three months!!

Looks stylish in a very simple way and it comes in so many different colors!

    CONS:

Makes a pretty audible whooshing noise upon drinking from the bottle. Would not take this bottle anywhere where quiet and silence is appreciated.

The water stream is too thin. If you’re thirsty and direly in need of water, the bobble doesn’t provide you with satisfactory gulping due to its sports cap. Great for use at home and at the office but not necessarily for the gym.

Great concept, but this little guy is noisy. When it “inhales” it makes a distinctive “whooshing” sound. I would not bring this into a movie theater, office meeting, library, etc – it’s too distracting. So I’m using mine around the house, running errands, or in the car. Water tastes great, and I’ve stopped buying plastic water bottles by the case, but they should work on fixing the noise. It’s the only thing keeping me from buying them for everyone I know.

While the bottle has a very cool design, it’s quite noisy when it “inhales”. Squeeze water out, no problem. But when air rushes back into the bottle, it makes a hissing sound that everyone in my office can hear. (Granted, it’s a small open office rather than a large cubicle farm.)

While I was debating whether to continue using it, my husband washed the bottle (not the filter-top) in water that was apparently too hot — the bottle melted/deformed. Not in the dishwasher, just really hot water. It’s still usable, but it’s hardly pretty. I had felt the bottle would break eventually because I was squeezing it too hard and I could feel corners forming, but it didn’t last long enough for me to find out.

It’s a shame, but it will save me money in the long run since replacement filters cost almost as much as the bottle itself. And I’m sure my co-workers will appreciate the switch back to my old bottle.

Well you “have to squeeze the water out…” is because it forces the unfiltered water through the charcoal filter, so it is clean when you drink it. If you just poured it out, it wouldn’t get filtered.

The other criticism is that it is expensive because you have to replace it every two months for$10. Since the filter lasts for over 300 uses, that would mean the guy is using 50 bottles full every day. Which I doubt. But if he uses it over 300 times as designed he is really saving over $300 in bottled water plus helping us keep the landfills less cluttered.

The plastic in this bottle is made of recycled material and is completely recyclable. Plus it is all made in the good old USA.
