An Answer to “Where Can I Watch Movies Absolutely Free?”
Article by Movie Guy
You may be asking the search engines “Where can I watch movies absolutely free?”.That’s a great question. Any movie buff out there in cyberspace wants to know the answer to that question, and you’re sure to get some interesting search results for this question. And, there are definitely sources for watching free movies. However, quite frankly, your question has not been asked correctly. You should be asking an even more specific question instead. The question you should be asking is…. “Where can I watch movies for free, LEGALLY?“. Let me explain why you should be asking the question with the word “legally” included. I’ll then follow up by providing you with an answer.Let me briefly describe the two types of movies that can be watched on the net, if you are not already aware of them. The first type is an illegal movie. An illegal movie is any movie that’s downloaded, viewed, shared, or distributed from any website, or person to person(P2P) file sharing program, without the authorization from the owners of the movie. How can you be sure that a movie hasn’t been authorized for your viewing pleasure. For one thing, I never heard of any mainstream movie studio allowing anyone to distribute their movies via P2P file sharing programs. This outright violates copyright laws. Only movies that have specific disclaimers in front of the movie that say “this movie can be distributed freely” can be viewed legally via P2P programs. Also, when any website is showing a movie that is still playing in theaters, or has just been released on DVD, it should be common sense that the movie owners are not are not willingly going to lose money by letting it be distributed freely on the net. Now, if you are the type of person who says to yourself “I don’t care if it’s illegal, I still want to know where can I watch movies absolutely free, without the movie owners’ consent”, here are some good reasons to reconsider your position:- Since it’s illegal, you are breaking the law, and since anything can be traced on your computer, you can get caught.- Illegally distributed movies are usually very poor quality, which means you ruin the movie watching experience.- Most sites and services that offer illegal viewing, downloading or sharing of movies make you sign up for accounts, make you participate in special offers, or only let you watch movies if you agree to certain terms and conditions, which could include downloading adware viruses and sending you spam emails.- When movie studios continue to not get paid for the distribution of the movies they own, they can’t continue to afford to make the kind of movies you like to watch. This is why to avoid the above problems, you should be asking “Where can I watch movies absolutely free, or for a small fee, LEGALLY?”, This brings us to the second kind of movie that can be viewed via the Internet…. legal movies. There are a few good websites that are licensed from the movie studios to legally distribute their movies to you through the Internet. Some of them offer movies absolutely free of charge, and some charge small yearly fees for unlimited downloads. I’ve compiled a list of websites where you can legally watch movies. You can view the list on my movie page at yaylink.com/movielinks.html.

List of episodes,
The episodes mentioned by the previous reviewer aired from 1994 to 2003. The episodes which should be featured on this set are as follows:
1. “Caution: Murder Can Be Hazardous to Your Health” – Feb. 20, 1991 (with George Hamilton)
2. “Columbo and the Murder of a Rock Star” – April 29, 1991 (Dabney Coleman, Little Richard cameo)
3. “Death Hits the Jackpot” – Dec. 15, 1991 (Rip Torn, Gary Kroeger)
4. “No Time to Die” – March 15, 1992 (Joanna Going, Thomas Calabro)
5. “A Bird in the Hand” – Nov. 22, 1992 (Greg Evigan, Tyne Daly)
6. “It’s All in the Game” – Oct. 31, 1993 (Faye Dunaway)
The next episode, “Butterfly in Shades of Grey” with William Shatner, was shown in Finland in Nov. 1993, but not in the US until Jan. 1994. I’m guessing it will appear on the final set, 1994-2003.
Of the above six, my favorites are 1, 3 and 6. But all of them are entertaining.

|Columbo does it best,
While I would argue the earlier moview are his best – it is hard to fault Columbo. His style is unique and the stories are good. If you are like many that cought the 80′s and 90′s movies on TV as re-runs but haven’t seen the original series from the 70′s staring the same cast – then you are missing out. Go buy all of them – you won’t regret it.
