Scrapbooking Paper Through My Mind’s Eye Is Not What It May Appear
Article by Dustin M.
To have a set of eyes is a wonderful thing. To enjoy colors, surroundings, people, and art are all beautiful sights for the human eye. But there is also another vision for the soar eyes and that is the elegant scrapbooking paper of My Mind’s Eye. A fairly new company with amazing designers emerged into the crafting industry, which will take any scrapbooker through the eye and into the mind of pure creativity with their designs. It is then no wonder why the business chose their name. In this article we take a look at what makes this company so unique from the rest and why it is so appealing to crafters all around the world. Because with these artists and designers what you see on the surface might not be what you think.
History of Scrapbooking Paper
Scrapbooking paper has been around since the sands of time in many forms. A definite proven method for preserving personal and family geneology in many ancient and modern forms. Typical paper includes, albums, photographs, letters, media (printed), and artwork. In a way you could say that the use of scrapbooking paper is a styling way of journaling. Although using this kind of paper is mostly practiced in developed countries, there are many in undeveloped countries that still participate, but in other ways for physical everyday use such as pottery and kitchenware. At the present time there are many paper companies that have continued to produce many lines and collections of beautiful papers. To name a few Basic Grey, Die Cuts With A View, Graphic 45, and many others. But there seems to be something different about My Mind’s Eye paper. Is it there designs? Is it there patterns? Or could it simply be the company name that stands out from the rest?
My Mind’s Eye Unique Paper
This company’s scrapbooking paper appeals to almost every crafter out there in some way, shape or form. With a large variety of lines that market to women, girls, men, and boys their paper hits on all creative cylinders. To the eye one patterned paper is flexible to every gender and age, which almost seems impossible, but not with My Mind’s Eye. Their lines are top quality with unique sanding and embossing capabilities. They bring incredible attention to detail and imagination to the intellect. The coordinating cardstock and creative embellishments also add to this double-sided paper. Words that come to many crafters mind are classic, fresh, and timeless. The ability to make scrapbooking layouts, handmade greeting cards, and other paper crafting creations is a breeze with their paper and accessory kits. My Mind’s Eye seems to take you away and out of the “traditional” scrapbook/card making scene into a world of projects never thought imaginable. And the recently released glittered papers makes you want to blow off the dust on those tools and supplies and start crafting again.
As stated in the introduction, My Mind’s Eye takes a unique approach and appeal in the scrapbook world. And as discussed in this article are the possibilities of answering that question why this is so. Is it really there designs? Or is it those gorgeous patterns? Or could it truly be the company name? I would like to think that it could be a combination of all three. When one opens the mind and their eyes with this business they you will truly see the amazing paper in front of you. There is no science, or visionary tricks with their lines. It is simply backed up by inspiring designs, creativity, and imagination. So the next time you are in your local scrapbooking store and see My Mind’s Eye paper, put on your craft goggles because you may never look at it the same again.

TERRIFIC,
If you like to use glitter paper for scrapbooking or other arts/crafts, these are better than any I’ve seen at the various craft stores, plus the price is more reasonable than buying individual sheets. I loved most of them and will use all of them. The only thing I don’t like about them is the smell – probably the glue. Hope that goes away in time. Otherwise these are perfect.

|Great for a continous project,
This stack is great! This stack includes more designs with only 2 sheets for each, rather than 3. It’s colors are vibrant and cohesive if you’re looking to do a book that matches. It would be a great gift for any scrapper!!

|Quality thick paper,
This book of 12×12 sheets are heavy weight, vibrant colors, and fun designs. I’ve been using the more subtle sheets from this book to build a portfolio of wedding photographs. The more `busy’ sheets have been great backgrounds for portraiture of children.
The pages have a glue binding that takes a bit of work to break and do tear if your not careful. At time the I’ve had to use an knife to cut the glue off of the binding edge.
These pages have added a wonderful creative depth to my photos.
