When traveling around the globe or merely going home for the weekend to go to your parents, luggage is definitely a must have. There are all kinds of luggage that you can buy from great companies, luggage like Samsonite luggage and Eagle Creek luggage. There are eight different types of luggage. These are trunks, suitcases, wheeled upright, garment bag, tote, duffle bag, carpet bag and rolling luggage. While searching for the right set or piece of luggage for your family needs, here’s a bit of info that will help you know what to look into.
A trunk, as almost all of you would think, is a wooden box. The smaller trunks are called footlockers and the largest trunks are referred to as steamers. For instance you won’t be ready to find these on the Samsonite luggage website.
Now we all know well what a case is, since we all have done some form of traveling during our lives. Just for those who do not know, it could be a hard or soft container that customarily has a clasp, zip, or other way to fasten anything you pack in it safely away. Here is where things get a huge confusing. This is a piece of luggage that truly makes certain that your collared shirts, dresses, suits or skirts won’t be wrinkled when you get to your destination. They sell garment bags with wheels or without, which ever you prefer. You can find both on the Samsonite luggage web site. Now a tote is a small bag that may be worn on your shoulder or, in some newer versions, is formed with wheels, as luggage and wheels grow in appreciation.
A duffel bag is a massive rounded oval that is always soft sided. It’s great for casual traveling luggage. And newer sorts of duffel bags come with wheels. There are smaller versions that you can carry on your shoulder. Now a carpet bag is usually luggage made from carpets. You can purchase from Samsonite luggage material that looks like carpet, but truly isn’t. The normal carpet bags are not available.
