Potential costumers like us bought this vacuum in the past due to overwhelming reviews. One of recent reviews state that this vacuum is in consumer reports and come out neck in neck with the $300 vacuums. As of now, they would buy this vacuum over again and recommend it. As a matter of fact, on the Amazon site, 967 peoples are giving 5 stars and 558 others give 4 stars on a total of 1788 reviews. This mean that 1788 peoples are not only buying it, but take time to tell future customers that, even if this is not perfect, this is a great product. That is an 85% of 4 and 5 stars for a vacuum cleaner way under 100 dollars.
Technically, this is an upright model with a 15-inch wide path that cleans indoor air while you vacuum. Yes, an allergen filtration system traps 100 percent of dust mites, 99.98 percent of ragweed, and
common grass pollens for cleaner breathing and fresher air. I guess this is one of the reason why we vacuum? To have a cleaner home. For pet friendly homes, not all of them, but some $400 vacuum are no use against all pet hair. Well this vacuum, somehow, picks it up. It picks up hair, dirt and everything else. Just what we should expect from a vacuum i guess!
After analysis of one of the top 10 vacuum cleaners, the u5140-900 model, what are the pros and cons?
Pros: good suction, easy to use, overall feel like getting the carpet rid of dirt and dander, cheap.
Cons: cord is a little short, attachment hose a bit short, seems a little bit noisy.
So, at the end, it is just a basic sweeper that does the job at a reasonable price. But at least if this one does not last, we do not break the bank and so far it should performed better than its predecessors. And do they last? Guess not because we are searching for a new and better one, once again.
Take the opportunity to buy extra bags during checkout. Why wait to have only one bag left unless you really enjoy going out to buy vacuum bag.
