Question by Eskimo: How can i become a computer component “dealer”?
I’ve been looking for ways to buy computer components in bulk and discounted, but I can’t find any. Is there any way to do this? How should i contact AMD or Intel about this?
I’m trying to start a small business selling computers.
Note: I did not ask people to tell me how good or bad of an idea this is, or how hard it would be. I asked if there was a way i could become a dealer and buy in bulk to save money.

Good luck. Do you know what the margins are for independant computer stores? Very small.
That is why most of the small guys have gone out of business. In order to get great pricing, you need to buy in volume, but technology changes so quickly, you get stuck with old stuff that no one wants.
