What is Affiliate Marketing? Wikipedia has over 20 definitions. The basic definition is the promotion of products for a company to acquire sales; leads, and get paid a commission for your labor. Getting paid yes that is what it is about, now you need a product or idea, to promote.
Pick a product or idea you want to promote. Something you are knowledgeable, or an expert in. What gets you excited, your passion, hobbies, what do like to do with your spare time. Do some research, what are the newest niches, in health, technology etc.
Where to find such a product? Affiliate Marketing companies like Click Bank, and Pay Dot Com for example. Search the web and find out what is out their, their are hundreds.
Click Bank is a great example, so lets go through how to sign up and use their services.
1.Go to Click Bank.com and sign up for a free account.
2.Create a nickname it should identify you,initials part of name.
3.Pick Products-Go to Market Place-Click on Category on left.
4.Pick product that you believe in,would use,has a great guarantee.
5.Click on Promote-put your nickname in the box
6.Click on Create- this is your personal hop link-record it-do not lose. You now have an individual link that identifies you as the person who gained a customer for the company whose product you are promoting.
You can now earn commissions promoting your affiliate products using videos,articles, blogs,through emails etc.
