Before trying this product, I was using another famous brand (Nads) and was very happy about it. One day I ordered this Moom Hair Removal because I needed to order some more to get “free shipping” ordering online. I think I just liked the name and color, and I was just curious also.
Obviously, there are differences between this and another product. This one is less sticky and easier to clean up after. Especially when the wax was on the skin, wiping off was harder with the other product. Also, when I wash the wax off the cotton sheet that is used for hair removal, the wax comes off easier than the other products. Another important difference is that removing hair with this product is less painful than using the other product.
Since then I never look back. I don’t expect that there is any better product on this planet for hair removal with this price.
If your room is very warm you don’t have to heat the wax before using it. I live in a tropical city (Miami, Florida) so I never heat it.

All the good things written about this product were true for me. I have some tough facial fur and was introduced to waxing quite late in life. When your close-up vision is going you don’t want to be spreading heavy wax around your eyes! Wax also used to leave my skin red and irritated for hours, even when done by a professional.
I thought this product might be too messy, and not strong enough for me, but was wrong on both counts. The instructions say not to warm it for the face, but you can still spread it fairly thin. It’s painless and gets ALL the hair. I simply rinse the cloth strips and the applicators out in the sink after rinsing my skin.
Moom does not irritate my skin at all. In fact it leaves my face silky smooth and very soft, and I’m already finding the grow-back time to be lengthening. You really can’t make a mistake with this product. At least not one that a little warm water can’t take care of!
It’s inexpensive too. I expect this small jar will last me a very long time. Definitely worth a try!

I bought this based on reviews I read on Amazon and I am extremely pleased with this product. I tried hot wax (Sally Hansen’s lavendar version for sensitive skin) While the hot wax did not irritate my skin – it was tedious, messy, and hard to get the right temperature. This Moom – was so much easier because it is easy to get off with water and reapply. With the wax, it sometimes clung to my skin and then I had to remove patches of it. This doesn’t happen with Moom. Plus, I love that it is made of environmentally friendly products – even the strips are reusable!

I heard my girlfriend talking (isn’t that how this stuff starts?) about how she gave up shaving for waxing and will never go back. As someone with horribly sensitive skin, I decided to give in and try waxing. Doing some research, I discovered that sugaring is waxing’s nice cousin and felt it would be better for my skin than regular waxing.
Pros:
- MOOM is easy to heat
- Comes with plenty of strips to work with
- Easy to remove excess sugar with damp washrag
- Can go over same area if needed
- Keeps skin soft
Cons:
- MOOM needs reheating every 15 minutes or so
- Harder to remove coarse hair (had to go over a few spots three or four times)
- Gets oily if used in same spot more than twice
I have used MOOM on my underarm, bikini and legs with fantastic results. I’ve never been waxed before and this was a first time experience that I actually enjoyed, if that is possible with hair removal. I did experience some very minor and not visible bruising with use, but as this was my first time it could have been an error on my part.

I was looking into buying Nad’s, but only read bad reviews. One of the women suggested Moom instead; cheaper and less messy. Well, the “all natural” ingredients also got me convinced and truely, the best waxing experience I’ve ever had! Washed right off and doesn’t remove any skin layers… I was expecting my legs to be puffy, red and itchy for a few days, buy NOTHING. For having not waxed in over 5 years, it didn’t even hurt that much, I almost can’t wait to do it again!… Greaty buy!!!
