The idea for this train case is fantastic: a beautiful high-end train case for all of your nail polish bottles and your manicure supplies. However, I was so disappointed when I got it. It is indeed very nice and pretty–gorgeous in fact–if you just look at it. However, it is cheaply made, of what I would consider average to low quality, and definitely not high-end. I regretted paying so much for this item; it is what you’d expect from a case that cost half as much or even a third as much. I suppose I’d pay as much as $40 for it at full retail, and that would be a stretch.
The top shelf has room for 32 nail polish bottles, and no, it doesn’t have to be OPI as any regular size nail polish will fit. The bottom section has a drawer that pulls out in a jerky, rickety way and that is divided into three sections. It was so poorly made that the compartments aren’t even at right angles! It wasn’t deep enough to hold my nail polish remover.
Too bad such a nice idea went so wrong. I give it three stars because it is still a great cheap-quality nail polish train case–I just expected better and overpaid.
Recommended only if you don’t mind paying a lot to have this item, or if you can get it somewhere cheaply.
