  1. Had many in Thailand, Also a Vietnamese massage is MUCH BETTER than a Thai massage

    ALSO NOTE THE CURRENT SITUATION:
Spread of the H1N1 virus closes schools in Bangkok.

  2. Yes, a while ago.

Cost me 600 baht I think and it was, interesting.

  3. I’ve had body massage both in Thailand and Malaysia multiple times. I enjoyed both and can’t tell you which one is better. They are just different. Traditional thai massage reminds me of manual therapy. The masseuse stretch and bend you in weird positions quite a lot. It’s very good if you can take the whole course of the massage and do it like 7-10 times. One hour shouldn’t cost more than 200-300 thai baht. If it’s more than you are being ripped off.

In Malaysia it’s more expensive. The average is about RM 50-70. The cheapest one I found costs RM 20 -30. It was blind massage. Blind masseurs were doing it. It was very painful, but you feel great afterward, though you might find some bruises ;) )

  4. Had loads of massages but only in Thailand. Some were great and others just OK. It’s usually better to have an elderly massage woman with more experience.
Thai massage is Baht 200 and the oil one 300.

  5. I never had a Body massage in Thailand before.
Maybe you know what is a “Body Massage” in Thailand, but it look like from the answers that many people doesn’t know.

The Body Massage in Thailand is practiced by young girls who massage your body with their body ( not only their hand ).
It is usually a massage only for adults !!
If we want to speak about Real Massage, we should call it “Traditional Thai Massage” other wise people can miss understand.
Anyway Traditional Thai Massage is great !! is a kind of Shiatzu in a Thai way, but very very similar do it.
It cost from 300 Baht on the beach up to 1000 Bath in luxury spas.
The Thai massage session last usually 1 hour but traditionally for the full benefit, should last 2 hours.

    Wish you a nice massage

  6. Had all types off massage in Thailand from foot massage, to traditional Thai massage, oil massage and full body massage. See Masha T’s comments on Traditional Thai massage — you may crawl out worse than when you walked in, but an interesting experience. I had one in the school in the grounds of the King’s Palace and this little older lady had me in positions I never knew possible. Expect to pay about 200 to 250 baht an hour. I prefer an oil massage the most, very relaxing. You can also choose who massages you ! 300 baht an hour is normal and treat yourself to 2 hours. One hour is not enough. There are many spa’s that offer full body massages, and they are just that. They can include oil, bubble bath etc and there is a lot of bodily contact. Expect to pay a lot more for this service….from 1,200 baht an hour ! If you can afford it, you’ll not forget the experience in a hurry. There are massage shops absolutely everywhere in Thailand, so it’s a bit hit and miss whether you will get a good one the first time. If you are going to Pattaya, visit Soi Honey off second Road.

  7. Personally speaking a Thai massage is not as good as Swedish or some other types.
I have had several at the schools and in the hotel.
    It is cheap, I think I paid $10 U.S.

  10. thai traditional massage is different with body massage, i think you mean the naked lady massage for you by using her boobs and later wear a cap for you, those type may range from 1500B to 5000B a session depending on her prettiness or club

the best one is in Poseidon, in Rachatda Rd….it is a little bit costly compare to other club but it is the best

like it?…sure, you wanna pay for me

  11. Unless a massage is specific to feet, hands, head or shoulders then all are “body massage”. Perhaps you mean ‘Soapy Massage’…an experience to die for.
