Nursery furniture that is very expensive or sold by a high end store or retailer does not mean that it is better quality, more functional or safer than those models or sets that are less expensive. Sometimes less expensive models are rated higher for safety and satisfaction than very expensive models. This item is absolutely terrible. Quite possibly one of the most frustrating pieces of junk I have ever purchased. It came in a box with numerous pieces of wood and a bag full of 100 different screws and brackets. The instruction manual is something like 25 pages long and is very difficult to understand. In addition, pieces were missing and some of the screws would not fit in their intended place!
For the time and effort involved, it would be better to pay the additional money and buy a decent piece of furniture.
The assembly of this dresser is a mind game of the worst type: missing pieces, deceptive drawings in instruction manual, etc. I want to take these boards and screws and plummet them at the person who decided it would be a good idea to have a consumer assemble this in such a manner.

Yes, I agree with the prior review regarding the length of the instruction manual, but it is hard from difficult to assemble. Although it doesn’t go together in 5 steps like other flat packed furniture, the result is a far more sturdy piece of furniture. If you want a product that snaps together in a jiffy, this isn’t for you. If you want quality furniture that will hold together for quite some time, give it a shot.

|TERRIBLE – wasted a day on this, and had to return anyway,
Okay, this dreser is a good price and looks nice in the picture. The parts arrived in good condition too. HOWEVER, you do not want to waste your money on this. It was a disaster. The instructions are terrible, holes are predrilled wrong, etc. However, despite that, we got it together. BUT, it was so, so wobbly. It would sway back and forth by barely touching it. You would never want to put your baby on this dresser with how wobbly it was! And the drawers were terrible – wouldnt line up correctly and there were gaps where they didnt line up with sides of the dresser. Ultimately, after spending the day putting it together, we had to take it apart at 9 pm, pack it back up, and return it to Amazon for a refund. It was a total waste of time and really frustrating. We ended up buying a better quality changing dresser from jcp.com – it was $100 more but arrived FULLY ASSEMBLED and looks awesome in our nursery.
