You’re way too young for the beds. If yu want to look tan try tanning sprays and the salons that have VeraSpa or Mystic Tanning

No! It will NOT help. When you go on vacation, get the highest spf sunscreen you can find (usually 75 or 80), and apply it every 30 minutes or so. Everywhere! Don’t forget the tops of your ears and your feet.
Your not to young to go tanning. Was there ever an age limit? Nope. You have to go longer than a minute or two, if you want to build a base tan so you dont burn on vacation you have to go for about 4-5 sessions with minium 5 minutes each. I know you always hear “Oh they give you cancer” But thats only people who go tan-crazy. Moderation is key *
It’s not going to prevent your skin from burning in the sun. And only being in the bed for a minute wont do anything. Tanning beds take time to see results and you typically just get a good base tan. If you do decide to go in the bed, you’ll need to go for at least 8 minutes at a time and gradually go up, starting at once a week. It’s so close to the holidays and if your vacation is soon, I wouldn’t waste your money tanning before you go. Just get a really good sun block for when you are in the sun and don’t stay out there for more than 2 hours at a time. Burning is terrible and you don’t want to ruin your vacation because of it. When you get home you can take up the tanning bed and get more information about it.
DO IT.. because its safer for you to prepare your skin for sunlight then let yourself be at risk for burning. Burning is very very bad. Indoor tanning is bad if your obsessively doing it but if it’s a way of protecting your skin then DO IT.. even with being 14
Sunscreen.
