Is a slow computer driving you crazy? Is it taking forever for the program you need to open? Do they act a little weird? Or maybe the error messages are becoming more prevalent? You probably need to clean out and repair your computer’s registry if you are having any of these problems with your system. Each program or function that you use leaves tiny bits of information in random places on your system. If you update or delete a program, little pieces of it are often left behind on your hard drive. It only makes sense that after time, all this extra information would clog up your system and slow it down. Simply find yourself a good registry cleaner and repair agent and you can help avoid this problem.
Registry cleaning and repair should happen at the same time so look for this program. Every one of your registry files has the potential to have hang nails that ahve to be fixed leaving the remaining programs behind to deal with issues. Having a good registry cleaner can help you avoid these issues by fixing them when they happen which effectively keeps your system running better. Size Good, Connector Bad,
I bought this drive because the capacity was right and Toshiba has a fairly good track record. The main problem with it so far (<8 hrs in) is that the connector continually falls out of the drive end while I’m transferring files.This is my first experience with USB-3 and it may just be a weakness of the mini-socket spec, but its making me livid. I probably won’t send this back, but I wouldn’t recommend a friend buy one either.

|USB3 canvio is fast,
If you have a USB3.0 port on your desktop or laptop, this is a great upgrade at almost the same price as the usb2 version.
I am getting 95MB/sec transfer speeds for this model vs. 35MB/sec for the canvio-usb2.0.

|very touchy and usb 3.0 causes issues on 2.0 ports,
a few things on this hard drive:
* we’re disappointed with the usb3.0 – it works fine with a 3.0 port on our newer computer, but we can’t play movies off of the hard drive through a 2.0 port on our older computer without having issues
* it’s extremely touchy – moving it even a little while connected will cause the connection at the hard drive to separate and therefore interrupt your data flow.
