I originally purchased a mount from Best Buy for almost $200 and when I got it home I decided to check Amazon for a better deal.
This was the outcome of a very short search. I ordered this mount and it showed up at my house in two days. This item is very well made and nicely finished in flat black powdercoat. I hung a 52″ lcd on it in about 1/2 hour time.
DO NOT spend $200 on a wall mount!
By the way….the Best Buy mount went back the next day.

I was a little concerned about purchasing this mount because it was so much less expensive than many of the others. I don’t have extensive experience with HD TV wall mounts but this one does the job well and I am NOT disappointed. My only complaint is that the screws that it comes with for attaching it to the wall are crap. Two of them broke when I was screwing them into wooden studs – not plaster or concert but simple 2×4 wall studs! As a result my confidence level in the screws diminished and I went to the hardware store to buy new more robust ones. I still gave it 5 stars because other than that it as excellent value and I do not see any reason to buy a more expensive flat panel wall mount.

I was needing a mount for a 50″ plasma. This one looked ok for the price. Real Home Theaters had it listed for the best price. I had some questions, so I called them. They asked all the right questions, and since my TV was a 50, they gave me a free upgrade to a better mount for the same price as the one I called about. These guys rock, and they have installers ready to answer the phone that I found to be really helpful. I write this to tell you my friend liked mine so much that he ordered one, his came from WarehouseSeller. I can’t tell you how much better we both like mine than his. Tilt up and down, locking levers instead of wing nuts, and an open plate in the back to let the wires through. They even have a lifetime warranty. I’ve attached some pictures under customer images so you can see the difference.

The wall mount itself is fine. It is very strong but the screws that come with the package were some of the weakest screw I have seen. I work in construction and when I saw the screws they gave me I was very hesitant to use them. All the screws snapped when they got close to the end, I had to go buy heavy duty screws to secure the mount.

I looked around many sites and read many discriptions for a wall mount for my 42′ Sharp. This one fit the bill perfectly for the price. It came with all the adapters needed for the Sharp (which recommends their own for about twice as much…). Very easy to install, just find the studs in the wall. It helps to have two people… first to make sure it is installed at the right spot, second, to lift the TV to hook on. It also helps to have someone hold the bottom of the TV while you make the tilt adjustments…Overall I’m very satisfied with this product…
