Question by Black Holes & Revelations: What part of the rosary are the “father beads”?
A friend asked me to make a pink rosary as a gift for her niece and I found some metal rose “father beads” and thought they would be a nice addition to the rosary. I kind of assume they are the beads dividing the sets of ten beads, but I’m not sure.

The reviews I read on this lot of beads were very favorable so I was not hesitant to buy. I must have gotten the lot of 50 lesser quality,cast off beads. The beads I got were not the quality and not nearly as beautiful as the set of 10 I had gotten from the same seller previously. I was also a bit disappointed that out of 50 beads, 18 were black and 20 were green; I expected more variety of color as well as the same quality I had gotten in the smaller bundle.

I was so excited to see my order arrive that I poured them onto a white glass plate to look at all of the bead details. Oops, glass hitting glass wasn’t one of my brighter ideas. Managed to chip one bead and have another where the silver core popped off from one side. A little super glue to get the core back into place and you’d never know of my goof. Every bead is different and with 50 pieces there are enough colors to coordinate and contrast with every outfit. My friends loved going through all of the beads and were shocked when mentioning the price. LOVE THEM.

Out of 50 glass beads, I only had one with the center detached and one chipped. They came all the way from Hawaii so I can be pleased with that. They’re very colorful, no duplicates, and seem to be great quality. Shipping was much quicker than I expected.
